***Update*** 4/7/10 I never ended up selling this, but I do keep it because it is so lovely, and maybe one day I’ll use it for my own or a friends baby ;)

Okay you’ve seen it cameo in tons of my videos and it’s finally done! My baby blanket I made is finally finished.

Used 2 rows each color of double crochet, 1 row multicolor of popcorn stitch and repeat.

    Sure. I will try …
Sure. I will try to make that soon as I have a new webcam now. I’ve never heard of the thinner yarn part, but I’m sure that would work just fine too as usually you will border that first chain row and hardly notice it. That’s something I might try now!

I’m not sure what the costs or measurements would be. I think I tried selling the baby blanket like 2 years ago, but it never sold. I guess I could try to if you guys needed me to, but I wouldn’t know what to charge or anything.

    Hi
Could you video you starting the blanket? I would like to see how you find the chains to start your first row. I’ve heard that if you use a thinner piece of wool, so you have a thicker blanket still, that the thinner piece of wool is easier to find, then just feeling for the stitch. Is this true?

    are you still …
are you still selling blankets? If so what are the costs and measurements? Can you do specific colors?

I believe I used an “I” hook, as everytime I use this yarn I seem to use that hook. It’s a perfect size for how thick the yarn is.

what size crochet hook did you use? Thanks.

    Oh totally! It is …
Oh totally! It is a trick I do suggest for everyone; it’s just one I have always chose not to do as I crochet weird and don’t use correct tension, if I skip the knots it gets all funky the wrong shape. I do suggest everyone at least learn how to do it; it’s just something I don’t do.

    Sorry :*(

Ty yes, it is a bit difficult, with the chain you have to count, and with every stitch a lot of it is counting and feeling, which is so hard, but so worth it, it’s beautiful.

    Hi
this is beautiful. I’ve tried working with the stuff, but the first row I can hardly see where to put the first stitch in. Did you have any difficulty when you started your first row. I know to use a large hook, but still didn’t help me.

i sort of made it …
i sort of made it up as i went, hence it’s not even on all sides, mostly its just 2 rows double crochet of all the regular colors, then 1 row popcorn stich of the multy, hope that kinda helps.
