I’ve just crocheted a baby blanket. With what should I line it? Satin? A thin cotton fabric? Some other fabric?

Sure! Cotton lining! Why not? And make the satin border, too! I still have mine! I would wash it, first, and the lining, too.

Hope this helps!

My kids both loved the satiny borders. When they were babies, they would always go for that part of the blanket. It feels cool and soft. I think anything would be good but the satin always attracts the babies.

Cotton is best because it is breathable fabric.

I lined one for my grandaughter with flannelette. If you use 100% cotton, make sure you pre-wash it first .

Definitely cotton. It is washable and breathes. If you want to add satin use it as a border.
