I want to make a baby blanket for my boss (she’s having a girl) and I was wondering how big I should plan on making it.
I always went for a larger size (around 36"x48" was my favorite), because they’d be usable as nap blankies for several years, assuming they didn’t wear out first. But that’s personal preference, and anything from about 30"x30" on up works fine.

I’m 14, female and I still sleep with my baby blanket. I mean, I can sleep without it with no problems at all but I dunno, I just sort of like it 
And yeah people say that it’s things like trauma that makes you cling onto security items but I can’t remeber ever having anything traumatic happen in my life.
So any ideas of why? And just wondering if lots of people sleep with their security items into their teen years?
I think is cool. Kinda cute really.
I think you should do it as long as you can.
In fact you should make it into a quilt and keep it forever.
